Lab 4 — One Layout to Rule Them All: Responsive Design

The Tale

Lab 4 focused on making the website work properly on different screen sizes. Instead of designing for just one fixed layout, this lab introduced the idea that a website should adapt to its environment.

The Quest Objectives

• Make a web page responsive so it functions well on different screen sizes.
• Apply media queries to adapt layouts based on the viewport width.
• Use responsive images to ensure visuals scale correctly across devices.
• Allow elements and text to scale smoothly with the window size.
• Style text and buttons with appropriate colors and sufficient contrast.

Reflections from the Road

What Went Well

• While I haven't fully finished this lab yet, I'm sure I mastered responsive web design.

What Could Be Improved

• Maybe I should work a bit faster in class.
